England, Sterling will return to Qatar on Friday: updates
Important updates on Raheem Sterling 's situation arrive . The England forward is still at home after the attempted burglary at his home , which forced him to miss the last match against Senegal , valid for the round of 16 of the Qatar 2022 World Cup . The FA has in fact, it has been made official that Sterling will return to Qatar to rejoin the group on Friday . Coach Southgate had made it clear to Sterling to take all the time necessary to make sure his family were well, but it's clear the England manager has already prepared for the next game without him - the all-important quarter-final against France, scheduled for Saturday.
