Updates on Di Maria's injury, who could miss Argentina's next match at the World Cup: the outcome of the checks

Important updates are arriving from Qatar on Angel Di Maria 's condition , who was replaced in yesterday's match against Poland due to a quadriceps annoyance. There was a lot of concern about the Juventus player's injury in view of the upcoming matches at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, but the outcome of the tests carried out by Scaloni's national team medical staff can at least partially comfort the Argentine fans. 
In fact, as revealed by Tyc Sports , the ultrasound performed this morning by Di Maria showed that there is no muscle fiber breakage, but it is a contracture in the thigh of the left leg . The Argentine remains in doubt for the match against Australia, valid for the round of 16 of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, but there is certainly optimism to possibly see him again in a subsequent match, in the event of Argentina passing the round .
