Premier League, the schedule of matches on Boxing Day
While Serie A will restart on January 4 and Ligue 1 on December 28, the Premier League will be the first championship to resume after the end of the World Cup in Qatar. The English league will take to the field on the usual Boxing Day, with seven games scheduled for December 26, two on December 27 and finally one last match on December 28.

Leading the Premier League table is Mikel Arteta's Arsenal , currently leading with 37 points, five points behind Manchester City. In third place we find Newcastle surprisingly with 30 points, ahead of Antonio Conte's Tottenham .

The seventeenth day will open on December 26th. The first match will be Brentford-Tottenham at 1.30pm, followed by four games at the same time at 4.00pm. Crystal Palace-Fulham, Everton-Wolverhampton, Leicester City-Newcastle United and Southampton-Brighton. At 18:30 there will be the kick-off of Aston Villa-Liverpool, while at 21:00 Arsenal-West Ham will close the matches of 26 December.

 

On 27 December it will restart with Chelsea-Bournemouth at 18:30 and Manchester United -Nottingham Forest at 21:00 . Finally, Leeds United-Manchester City will take the field on 28 December at 21:00.
