Miguel Almiron picks up where he left off before World Cup and scores superb goal for Newcastle against Leicester

Miguel Almiron took just seven minutes to score again for Newcastle in their return to the Premier League.

The Paraguayan star, who has been superb for the Magpies all season, was on hand to net their second against Leicester.

Almiron played a lovely little one two with teammate Bruno Guimaraes before racing into the box and slotting past Danny Ward.

It was a slick goal from Eddie Howe’s side, and number nine for the season for one of their star players.

Only Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Ivan Toney have scored more in the Premier League than Almiron so far this season.

Newcastle went into the break 3-0 up thanks to other goals from Chris Wood and Joelinton, with the Magpies in full control.
