‘You’ve ruined it!’ Jude Bellingham responds to question relating to Liverpool transfer links as Jordan Henderson is interviewed

Jude Bellingham provided a cheeky response when Jordan Henderson was asked whether the midfielder was joining Liverpool from Borussia Dortmund.

Bellingham had a starring role in England’s win over Senegal as the Three Lions progressed to the World Cup quarter-finals where they are set to play France, which will be the biggest test of their campaign so far.

The 19-year-old is attracting interest from England and Europe’s biggest clubs and will cost Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea a fortune.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has had a fine World Cup, living up to the hype around him and providing England with a midfield option for several years to come, showing maturity behind his years in his first-ever World Cup participation.

At the end of the win over Senegal, him and goal scorer Henderson were talking to the media when the Liverpool captain was asked about Bellingham’s performances and attitude, of which he was full of praise.

Henderson said: “I’ve said it many a time. He’s a one off. We need to let him enjoy playing football, he’s only 19. He’s been incredible at this tournament but [also] for a long period of time now with Dortmund.

“He’s carried it on into this tournament and hopefully he can just carry on going from strength to strength and being a big player for England.”

After that, the journalist followed up with: “And Liverpool in the future?” in a bid to learn about Bellingham’s future should he leave Borussia Dortmund.

After a pause, Henderson laughed the question off and walked off and as both players made their exit, the 19-year-old shouted: “You’ve ruined it for all of us! You’ve ruined it, man.”

Regardless, Liverpool fans will be excited about the amount of time he is spending with Anfield’s finest, in particular Henderson, who has been looking after his younger teammate.
